About Us

Mad About Food's wholesale division started in Spring, 2007. The Company retains the services of a very knowledgeable sales rep who personally calls on our customers in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, the Interior and on Vancouver Island. Our History

Mad About Food began in the fall of 2000, with the launch of the company's Gift Basket Collection. That first Collection set the tone for our gift basket business and the great tasting, well packaged specialty foods we offer all our clients.

We've operated from several locations, including a specialty food store. The business is now based in a 2,800 square foot location west of Granville Island in Vancouver. At this location we maintain a small retail storefront that features all the items we offer in our gift baskets and Mad About Food Wholesale. The majority of the space we have is available for warehouse storage and the production of large gift basket orders throughout the year.

Allyson (photo at right) and Marianne are the key people you will be communicating with.

Allyson owns the business and provides the overall direction of the Company. She’s as passionate about Mad About Food's specialty food products as she is about helping her customers. Our key researcher, it’s her knowledge of this market and her dogged determination to find new, great tasting products that make our services so unique.

Marianne has been responsible for many facets of the Company’s production since 2002. Currently Manager, Retail Operations, Marianne is responsible for the day to day retail and gift basket operation and assists in choosing new products for all facets of the business. She also is passionate about the great tasting specialty foods we offer our clients.
