Order Details

Minimum order
One case of any item.

Prices
All prices are in Canadian dollars. GST, PST and freight are not included and will be added to your invoice, if applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice.

New Accounts
Orders must be prepaid until credit is established. Please request a credit application.

Credit Cards
We welcome Visa and MasterCard. Credit card orders are billed only on the day of shipping and only for products shipped. We’re happy to accept on-going payments by credit card but require completion of our Credit Card Authorization to institute this payment system.

Payment Terms
Terms are Net 30, from date of invoice, upon credit approval. All opening orders or orders for less than $150 must be prepaid. No additional shipments will be made to accounts over 30 days.

Freight/Delivery
Actual freight costs are added to each invoice. We ship as efficiently and cost-effectively as we can.

Refused Shipments
All refused shipments are subject to a 15% restocking charge and freight charges both ways.

Claims
Mad About Food must be advised of claims for damages and shortages within five (5) business days of receiving the order. Do not discard or return any damaged items until you have talked to us. A return authorization number is required for any returns and may be obtained by calling our toll free number. Unauthorized returns may be refused at our dock. Authorization number, store name and address must appear on all returns and correspondence.

Back-orders
Our goal is to fill 100% of every order, but if your order has been shorted any items please re-order these items with your next order as we do not do backorders.

Sample Jars
We know sampling specialty foods sells product. Product samples are available for all our products. When you request samples with your order, we allow one (1) free sample per three (3) cases ordered of any particular brand. Alternatively, you may purchase product samples at a cost of $2.50 per unit. All samples are marked as such.
