When John Harney & a partner bought a tea company from an old tea man in 1970, he learned loose tea makes the best cup. This man also instilled the idea that if you had to offer tea in bags, make them the best. Harney & Sons tea bags have larger leaves and more of them than the competition. Harney’s teas are fresh because of the volume they distribute to hotels and gourmet stores.
